SARA MOORE

Sara Moore, Ballet Instructor, was born in Dallas, TX where her ballet training began at the age of 3. Moving to San Diego, CA at the age of 8, she trained in the Cecchetti method at the California Ballet School under the instruction of Maxine Mahon and Paul Koverman. As a teenager she was a member of California Ballet Company’s Corps de Ballet and performed roles in The Nutcracker, Giselle, Pas de Quatre; she also performed in Dame Sonia Arova and Thor Sutowski’s Swan Lake.

 

In 1998 and 1999 she studied at the Boston Ballet Summer Intensive. In 2000, Ms. Moore became a Soloist with the San Diego Ballet Theater under the direction of Maxim Tchernychev and Sylvia Poolos-Tchernychev dancing lead roles in Sleeping Beauty, Les Sylphides, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco. Now retired from performing, Ms. Moore is dedicated to sharing her love, knowledge, and passion of ballet with the next generation of dancers.  Recently Sara was certified in the Progressive Ballet Technique and has intorduced this traning in her classes.

JORENE GRABOWSKI

Jorene was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin and is a third generation dancer.  Jorene was classically trained, though she chose to pursue her career in Los Angeles. For 9 years Jorene
performed for the jazz company, Instincts Live Media Dance Company directed by Liz Imperio. She has worked with artists such as Janet Jackson, Usher, and Wayne Brady as well as performing live with the Radio City Rockettes. Jorene has appeared on television shows such as the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, the “MTV Movie Awards”, and worked with Sarah Jessica Parker as her body double for GAP ad campaigns. Jorene appeared in motion pictures such as “The Comebacks” and “Bring It On Again”.

 

Since relocating to Las Vegas, Jorene has been performed with the “Sirens Of T.I.” at Treasure Island, the show inside 40 Deuce in the Mandalay Bay Hotel entitled “Royal Jelly”, the Wayne Brady
production “Making S#!t Up” at the Venetian, and the “Donny & Marie Show” at the Flamingo Hotel.

JEN CLOER

Originally from Canada, Jen has performed in Toronto, New York, Las Vegas, and around the world.  From the NBA court, cruise ships, and movies, to here on the Las Vegas Strip in PEEPSHOW (produced by Tony Award winner, Jerry Mitchell, at Planet Hollywood), Sirens of T.I. (Treasure Island), and Marilyn! A New Musical (The Paris Hotel & Casino).

​

Jen is most recently seen in Debbie Gibson's new music video, "Girls Night Out", and also does print and commercial work here in the Las Vegas area.  

​

Along with her performing, Jen has been awarded many regional and national awards for her choreography.  She loves teaching young children in ballet, jazz and tap.  Recently Jen was certified in the Progressive Ballet Technique and has intorduced this traning in her classes.

ANNIEBELLE Belanger

AnnieBelle grew up training under the direction of Kevin Leon and Samantha Hunt.  Throughout her years of training at the studio, she has performed around Las Vegas in shows and industry work.  After graduating from Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a dance major she has found a love for teaching many young students in the dance studio while also attending UNLV as a nursing major.  AnnieBelle is excited to continue inspiring students throughout the valley to love dance as much as she does!

ASHLEY SCHOEMER

Ashley Schoemer was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has danced her entire life across the valley. Beginning her training at Dance Fusion, she has trained both competitively and artistically, and has been granted opportunities to teach, assist and choreograph since she was 15 years old. Most notably Ashley has trained under Quinn Callahan, Roni Mahler, Don Bellamy, Brian Mueca Sanchez and several other incredible mentors that have cultivated her into the dancer and choreographer she is today.


Ashley attended the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a dance major and graduated in 2017. Ashley is currently studying at the University of Nevada Las Vegas towards her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Cognitive Science.


Ashley has also spent an inspiring summer training at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, under the direction of Summer Lee Ratigan, which changed her creative outlook on developing movement forever.


She has taught professionally and choreographed for The Rock Center for Dance, Kravenko Dance Academy, Spring Valley High School, Bobbie’s School of Dance and Dance Fusion thus far, specializing in contemporary and improvisational techniques. Most recently she was a nominated finalist for a National Choreography Award from The Dance Awards in 2019.

RORY HOLLADAY

Rory Holladay was born and raised in Las Vegas and has studied dance for 18 years. Her competitive dancing career spans from age 5 to age 19 when she earned a national title naming her Miss Showbiz 2019. Rory is now pursuing a career in the entertainment industry as a professional dancer and choreographer. Recently she has performed in flash mobs, music videos, and several gigs in Las Vegas and LA area. 

 

Rory started training at age 3 in various styles including contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, tap, lyrical, and ballet.  Her most recent training has been with Kevin Leon, Brian Mueca, Samantha hunt, Daffodil Gamayon, and Don Bellamy. She has also trained in acro/tumbling, aerial work, and trapeze with Terry Cavaretta and Pedro Farfan. Rory is looking forward to sharing her skills and love of performing with the next generation and the world.

ADRIANNA ROSALES

Born in Phoenix, Arizona Adrianna has been in love with dance since the age of 3.  After moving to Las Vegas, Adrianna trained at Summerlin Dance Academy under the direction of Jeremy Fullam, Kevin Leon and Samantha Hunt.  She also attended Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts.  After high school, she continued her training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and received her BFA.  She was hand selected during her senior year of college to become a member of the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theatre where she spent seven years.  Her recent credits include performing in works by Bernard Gaddis, Louis Kavouras, Victoria Baltimore-Dale, Stephan Reynolds, and Cathy Allen.  Adrianna has also had the pleasure to perform roles in Ulysses Dove's "Vespers" and Alvin Ailey's "Night Creatures".  It was during her time spent with the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theatre that she became their rehearsal director.  She has had the opportunity to choreograph for Las Vegas Academy and Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theatre.  Adrianna is excited to share her love of dance and experiences with her students during their training.

Betsy Lucas was born in Hillsboro, Oregon and trained with the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre under the direction of Damara Bennett.  There she appeared in Lew Christensen's Il Distract and Con Amore, and several George Balanchine Ballets including Allegro Brillante, Stars and Stripes and Raymond Variations.

 

In 2004, Betsy joined the pre-professional division of OBT under the direction of Christopher Stowell.  There, she performed roles such as "Peasant" in Swan Lake (after Petipa Staged by Stowell) and "Snow", "Flower" and "Tea" in George Balanchine's The Nutcracker.

 

In 2010, she joined Nevada Ballet Theatre.  Now in her 10th season with NBT, Betsy's repertoire includes lead roles in several full-length classics: "Clara" in NBT's production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by James Canfield, " Alice" in Septime Webre's  Alice (in Wonderland), "Princess" in Yuri Possokhov"s  Firebird, "Svetlana" in Ben Stevenson's Dracula, "Wendy" in Jorden Morris' Peter Pan, "Beauty" in Lew Christensen's Beauty and the Beast, and "Odette/Odile" in Swan Lake, staged by renowned Ballerina, Cynthia Gregory.  She has performed in Paul Vasterling's Seasons (Winter soloist), James Canfield's Degas Impressions and Blue Moon (Soloist), Matthew Neenan's At The Border, Paul Taylor's Company B (Pennsylvania Polka) and Christopher Wheeldon's Carousel (A Dance) as Demi soloist.

During her time at NBT, Betsy has also danced many George Balanchine Ballets including Concerto Barocco, Rubies, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Principal Butterfly), Serenade (Soloist Russian Girl), Western Symphony" (1st movement Principal) and Who Cares? ("Embraceable You" and "My One and Only, and RaymondaVariations (Principal couple, Variation II).

 

When not in the studio, Betsy enjoys passing along her knowledge of dance to other various dance studios or sewing skirts for her own dance wear line, Style En Pointe.

Mary Antoinette

Mary is a graduate of Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and former competitive dancer for Studio 702. Most notably she was trained under the instruction of Brian Mueca Sanchez, Kevin Leon, Jeneane Huggins, Daffodil Gamayon, and Don Bellamy. Post graduation she became a member of the Las Vegas Golden Knights professional cheer team, the “Vegas Vivas”. As well as performing and traveling for multiple gigs and flash mobs. 

 

Recently, she has joined the full-time cast of Iluminate. Currently performing at the Stratosphere, seen on Americas Got Talent.  Mary is excited to continue working with the kids this season and watch them grow!

Keala Solidum

Keala began dancing and competing at age 8. She has trained in many styles including hip hop, contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, and modern. She most recently trained under Kevin Leon, Daffodil Gamayon, and Brian “Mueca” Sanchez. She also had the opportunity to train with Krista Miller and other dance industry professionals during her time with the Launch Vegas training program. She graduated from Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a dance major and was also part of the first graduating class here at Studio 702 Dance! Now, Keala is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Event Design & Management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. 

 

Since the age of 15, Keala has had many opportunities to assist with classes, as well as choreography. Since then, her love for teaching and choreographing has only grown. Keala can’t wait to keep inspiring and sharing her knowledge and experience with her students!

Becky Evans

Rebecca Evans has 11+ years of experience in group fitness training for both adults and kids. From 2010-2013 she taught group fitness in Columbia, MO at Wilson's Fitness. Since moving to Las Vegas in 2013, Rebecca has taught group fitness at LVAC and kids group fitness at Lifetime Fitness Summerlin.
Currently, Rebecca has her own personal training business and has been the off-ice strength coach for the competitive figure skating program at City National Arena since 2018. She holds a personal training certification from ISSA with an endorsement in youth fitness. Rebecca also has a degree in early
childhood development and held various teaching positions in Michigan, Missouri and Las Vegas. She looks forward to bringing a high level of fitness to our dancers.

JULIE POORT

Julie was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Las Vegas in 2001.

 

Growing up in Michigan, she started dancing at 3 and assisting teaching at 10.  She is extensively trained in Tap, Jazz, Acro , tumbling and Cecchitti Ballet/Pointe.  She started competing when she was 8 yrs old, winning multiple National Championships at Showstoppers, Rising Star, and Showbiz in Florida, South Carolina, Washington DC, Minnesota and Las Vegas.   

 

Graduating from Ferris State University with a BS in Computer Engineering, she moved here to be an Acrobat in Les Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel in 2001 until 2007.  She has also performed in many Beaux Arts Shows and other Charity Events.  She has been at the Rio as a Bevertainer since 2005 and is currently still employed there.

 

As a dance instructor, she was trained by the Bohaty sisters.... Four Women who ran a very tight ship. She has taught  all Genres of dance but her LOVE is acrobatics!  She started teaching/assisting in 1987 .  In Las Vegas she has been teaching since 2008 at various Studios.
