This genre of dance is usually put together with quick, strong, and staccato movement done to upbeat music.  It has been featured on hit TV shows, such as "So You Think You Can Dance" and  "World of Dance".  Jazz has numerous styles under its umbrella ranging from lyrical and contemporary, to urban funk and musical theatre.  It's a dance form that can tap into your most energetic moods with all its versatility.

The warm - up will focus on stretching, aligning, strengthing and conditioning your body.  Included in the warm  up are exercises for the development of a solid dance foundation, which will include basic jazz movements that will later be incorporated into dance combinations.  Across the floor progressions will include style and technique designed to develop and push the students level.  Dance combinations will also be taught in class which will be an accumulation of all the elements to test each dancers coordination, memory, and technique.
